This colorful Krobo bead necklace was made by one of our talented artisans in Ghana. The beads are made from recycled glass, many of them meticulously hand-painted. All profits from sales go to allowing us to pay these young people a living wage---enough that they can save money to further their educations. The Gye Nyame symbol is the mos prevalent and popular in Ghana. It means, "God is Supreme."
